Eurekify Further Accelerates Deployment of Identity Management, Role Management & Compliance Management Solutions.

Leverages Advanced Pattern Recognition Technology to Address the Unique User ID Correlation Challenge.

Tel Aviv, Israel – April 22, 2008 – Eurekify, the pioneer and leading provider of comprehensive, cohesive, and effective solutions for the management of Privileges, Roles, and Policies, is announcing today a new addition to its Enterprise Role & Compliance Management suite. The new offering uses advanced pattern recognition technology to automate and speed up the process of matching User IDs to their rightful owners.

Almost every Identity Management project starts with the consolidation of accounts and privileges from a number of systems and applications. As part of this project, it is necessary to correlate each account on each system to its owner (often a person). This is not an easy task because very few organizations use a unique and consistent identifier across different systems. Another complication can be the mapping of privileged administrative accounts, e.g., root in Unix systems. In many cases, unique user ID correlation (UUID) can take several man-months to complete.

Unique user ID correlation is even more difficult in GRC projects, in part because a typical GRC project requires immediate analysis of tens of systems to begin with (versus a handful of systems in the initial part of most Identity Management projects).
